Last Christmas, thanks to YOU, our incredible supporters, we raised almost £12,000, giving 21 more young people the chance to experience the magic of Trust trips!
Our aim this year is to reach even more young people, there’s plenty of ways you can help make a difference to young lives during the festive season of giving…
⭐️Trust Christmas cards – By sending a meaningful Trust Christmas card you are supporting young people in recovery while also helping to spread the word about the difference we make. The cards come in packs of five and are available to order here
🎁 Give good gifts – Most people love to give someone they care about a thoughtful gift, but it’s even more special when you know you’re buying something that makes a difference. Get into the true spirit of Christmas this year by giving gifts that keep on giving, we’ve got something for everyone from limited edition Chilly’s Bottle, brand new sweatshirt and cosy kids bobble hats.
😀Shop with a smile – Instead of using the usual Amazon website to buy presents, go to smile.amazon.co.uk and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (exc. VAT, returns & shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charity of your choice, i.e. us! AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know, just every time you buy a young person benefits.
🎄Confidence beams as the Giving Tree gleams – By donating a minimum of £5 your bauble will be hung on the Giving Tree. Every new bauble is helping a young person to imagine a future they never thought was possible after cancer. Christmas is the time of year to let people know you’re thinking of them so leave a heartwarming message of hope and encouragement to show your support for young people.
🥂Festive Fundraising – It’s the time of year to round up your friends and family and raise more than just a glass. Whether you host a Mince and Mingle, a Christmas Quiz or plan a Festive Friyay we would love to help you arrange a seasonal fundraiser to remember. Get inspired and raise more than just a glass this year.
🥶 Do you dare to dip? – The brrr-illiant Boxing Day Dip is back, so why not gather your friends and family and get dipping – it may take your breath away, but it is nothing compared to the shock our young people and their families face when hearing the word ‘cancer’ for the first time.
Whether buying Trust Christmas cards, donating to our Giving Tree, filling your stockings with Trust goodies or braving the Boxing Day Dip – never underestimate the difference your support makes.
