Christmas is a wonderful time of the year, for most. Sadly this is not the case for everyone as around 4,500 children and young people in the UK hear the devastating news they have cancer each year. (CRUK, 2019).
Hundreds of young people across the country will spend the festive season in hospital. Christmas parties and celebrations will be replaced with treatment regimes. It’s an incredibly difficult time for these young people and their families.
This is why when treatment ends our work begins. But for every young person, we support there are nine we can’t. Yet. YOU can help help us bring more of these young people together by donating to our Giving Tree this Christmas – DONATE NOW.
Let the Trust magic begin ⭐️
The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust gives young people experiencing the most difficult time of their life something to look forward to and hope for a positive future.
We want all young people in recovery from cancer to experience the magic of Trust trips and enjoy being the young people they still are.
Tis the season…
By donating a minimum of £5 your bauble will be hung on the Giving Tree. Every new bauble is helping a young person to imagine a future they never thought was possible after cancer.
Christmas is the time of year to let people know you’re thinking of them so leave a heartwarming message of hope and encouragement to show your support for young people.
Our trips make an amaze-baubles difference to young people in recovery!
Send your message and donate to our Giving Tree now – Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust Christmas Giving Tree.
