What's on -  come aboard for our Virtual Summer!

Our support for young people doesn't stop just because we can't go sailing in 2020. From social fun and peer support, to skills development and mental wellbeing we've got your back.

What's On

Monday 13th July @ 7pm - Did you know July is Sarcoma Awareness Month? Joining host Scott are Lewis Aldersley, who sailed on his first trip last year, and volunteers George Paxford and Chloe Parsons. The gang chat about the need for awareness and what they wish they'd known they were first diagnosed. Listen here - Sound Waves or subscribe on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

Tuesday 14th July @ 6pm - Watercolour Workshop - Great news! You asked, we listened. 'Sketchbook by Bethany' is back for another awesome watercolour workshop. Join us to take some time out by the sea – let us be inspired by what is below the ocean. Whether you are trying something new or practicing the skills you already have... we would LOVE to see you there!

'Being creative gives you the ability to see things in a different way.' Sign up here - Watercolour Workshop

Thursday 16th July @ 7pm - This week we've brought in Trust Skipper John Davies for some 'Fun with Flags!' Learn how they are used and what they mean and put your boat flag knowledge to the test! Subscribe to our YouTube channel and never miss a session.

Coming soon - People – including young people supported by the Trust after cancer - doing jobs or courses you might love share their insight and tips on how they got into it. There will be sessions on related ‘life skills’ too to help you on the way.

Coming soon - For young people who need further or specific support in their recovery, these regular drop-in sessions will be held in partnership with post-cancer care experts so you can get the advice you need to move forwards. These sessions will cover topics such as survivor guilt and fertility, for example.
