There really isn't much support once you finish treatment. All of the hospital staff are lovely, but they're mostly dealing with people who are in treatment, and then you kind of get pushed aside.

A lot of people feel like they've just been abandoned. So the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust shows there are still places to get support and connect with people. It’s been really helpful.

I really appreciate the opportunities the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust has given me, because I really think it has helped to rebuild my sense of individuality and confidence with doing things independently.

It's been a really big confidence boost to be able to come here and try new things, and do them in a safe environment where everyone’s so accepting of if you can’t do it or you’re not comfortable with it.

The charity is an amazing place for people to come back as well, to keep connecting and reconnecting with people that live all over the UK. It’s a really nice break from the real world.
