Text EMCT17 £5 to 70070 now to donate £5 to help us help even more young people exactly like our Round Britain crew members in the future.
You can change that.
The Trust aims to rebuild young people’s confidence through positive, shared experiences. The local welcomes to the crew, wherever you are in the UK will be a huge part of this experience. We would love everyone to be part of the adventure and get involved, every individual moment, throughout the UK will make difference.

Even if you don’t live by the coast, our young people will be venturing inland as part of their stopovers too as they get involved with local events and activities, and visit other young people still on treatment to help them see there is life after illness.
And we need YOU to get involved too so we can support even more young people in starting to believe in their future. Want to know more about how you can help ramp up the excitement and support in your hometown?Round Britain invite Inverness

Become a Local Hero
Could you help champion the Round Britain story where you live? If you are happy to write, Tweet, Snapchat, just basically help make a big noise about the Trust before we arrive in your town or city we would love to have you involved!
Even if you don’t live near the coast, there is still plenty for you to get involved in online or in person as our crew of young people come from all over the UK.
A bit of experience or interest in comms/marketing would be beneficial as we want to identify contacts in each of the main stopover ports and surrounding areas who can keep us posted with things going on locally that we could get involved in and to help start spreading the news of our arrival to local contacts and media.
As one small project team continually on the move, having this wider UK network supporting the work of our central communications team will be massive in sharing our young people’s good news and fab stories locally.
If you are interested in being a Local Hero, there will be a training day ahead of the voyage’s departure to get the lowdown on the technology and comms planning in the weeks leading up to the boat being in or near your local area.
