A new trip for 2025, 'Come and Play Pirate For A Week'! Enjoy this memorable experience to challenge yourself while taking in Devon and Cornwall's world famous coastline from the sea.
Starting and finishing from the historic Plymouth Sound, you will get involved in passage planning, navigation and be part of a ‘Watch’ team, as you venture east or west to who knows where!
West Country Cruising is run in partnership with The Island Sailing Trust and you will be sailing on the attention-grabbing Johanna Lucretia, an old oak tall ship that is basically a pirate ship!
With lots of ropes to pull and the wide array of sails, there is plenty for everyone to get involved in, while discovering new harbours and coves. Great fun!

Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust trips were a silver lining for Mark. They were a reminder of what he was still able to achieve even after intensive treatment. Mark remembers his parents keeping him company while he was paralysed in his hospital bed, being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
