Test your sailing skills on the yachts Alba Explorer or Alba Venturer - sportier and more technical boats. Sailing from Greenock, enjoy a new challenge as you explore a different part of Scotland's west coast.
These trips are for under 18s and 18+ year olds.
A memorable experience giving you the chance to achieve more than you thought you could on faster and more technical boats than you may have been on before.
Alba Adventures - Alba being the Gaelic name for Scotland - is run in partnership with Ocean Youth Trust Scotland and you will sail on either one of their boats:
Alba Explorer is a 72ft (22m) Challenge 72 boat, which was originally built to take part in the BT Global Challenge round the world yacht race.
Or Alba Venturer, a 70ft (21.53m) Bermudan ketch design, which has sailed over 100,000 nautical miles around the UK and northern Europe.
Starting from Greenock, just north of Largs, you will get involved in passage planning and explore a different part of Scotland's west coast.

The offer to come on multiple trips gave Katie the chance to come back to a place she felt completely understood without having to justify herself. Aged 23 when she was diagnosed with a chondrosarcoma in her spine, Katie quickly underwent surgery followed by three months of treatment.
