You're invited to Dame Ellen MacArthur's live Q&A

This is a Trust Tuesday Hangout with a difference…

Our patron and founder – not to mention world record-breaker and Dame – Ellen MacArthur invites you to join her for a very special live Q&A this Tuesday.

Ever wondered what prompted the creation of the Trust? Or what goes through a sailor's mind when they are sailing solo around the world? What about how it feels to be knighted by the Queen?

Come along, bring your family, and find out!

In 2001, at 24 years old, Dame Ellen hit the headlines when she raced single-handedly, non-stop, around the world. In 2004 she went on to travel over 26,000 miles to become the fastest person to circumnavigate the globe. Hear all about these amazing and inspirational achievements and more!

And on Monday, our podcast Sound Waves celebrates the Trust’s 17th birthday, with Ellen joining host Scott, youth board member Sam, and Romy, a young person who came on her first trip last year, to reflect on all that’s happened since 2003. Listen in for some personal tales from Ellen’s time with the Trust and lots, lots more.

Don't fear if you can't make it along - send us the questions you wanted answered here! To reserve your live Q&A spot, please register at this link – click here.
