Under 18 IOW First Time Trips are Underway!

22nd July 14

Yesterday, we welcomed groups from Northern Ireland, Liverpool, Leeds, Great Ormond Street and Royal Marsden. It's the first of our under 18 first time trips running from our base in East Cowes of 2014.

The groups arrived to beautiful sunshine down here on the Isle of Wight, and a gentle breeze. Lunch was had on the yachts, before heading up to the office for a welcome and some team building games.

After a delicious fish and chip dinner, we had the customary ice creams for pudding - Yum!

Crabbing and games of articulate followed, before an early night ready for todays activities.

The crews were up bright and early (some earlier than others!) this morning, ready for a full day on the water. Heading out of East Cowes Marina, they headed West, having lunch on the go as they drifted down towards the Needles.

The girls onboard yacht Whisper, Lilac, Mia and Nieve described the day so far as "Amazing!", "Amazing and so relaxed", "Really fun!". They're currently playing a game of charades whilst heading down to have a look at the Needles.

Shabeene's crew have been playing Uno and enjoying the stunning weather.

They'll be heading into Yarmouth later this afternoon for tea and doughnuts at the Yacht Club, followed by games on the green and stir fry for dinner.

A brilliant group, brilliant weather and brilliant memories...
