What is #GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday is a movement to create an international day of giving that comes after Black Friday and gives you the opportunity to do good for a cause you care about, such as the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust 😊
Giving Tuesday also provides the perfect opportunity for us to thank all our incredible supporters, volunteers, partners and fundraisers please never underestimate the difference you make – we simply wouldn’t be able to transform the lives of young people without YOU!
Why support the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust on Giving Tuesday
The task of rebuilding your life after something as devastating as cancer can be a deeply disorienting and destabilizing one which is why when treatment ends the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust’s work begins.
Young people are given long-term support in finding the confidence to re-engage with education, employment and relationships through Trust trips, often for the first time being in hospital feels like a world away as they can finally enjoy being the young people they still are.
By supporting the Trust on #GivingTuesday you are helping a young person get their life back on track after cancer.
How can I get involved?
You can support young people in recovery by donating a bauble and Christmas wish to the Trust Giving Tree HERE
Share in our excitement on our Facebook page and watch as the tree fills with our Trust baubles and festive greetings, knowing every new bauble is helping a young person to imagine a future they never thought was possible after cancer.
Tell us what inspires you to support the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust. If you want to share your Giving Tree donation and see others follow the hashtag #EMCTGivingTree
