Sound Waves: Ellen joins us to celebrate 17 years of support

Last week was the Trust's 17th birthday - what better time to get together and think back on so many memories made. Our Founder and Patron, Ellen MacArthur, is our special guest.

To celebrate we invited some guests on to Sound Waves for a birthday bash, and to have a wee gab about what we've been up to since 2003.

Joining host Scott this week is founder, patron, record breaker, and Dame, Ellen MacArthur. Also, youth board member Sam reflects on nine years of involvement with the Trust, from where he started to where it's led him, to fatherhood and having sailing be a big part of his life. And Romy, who came on her first trip just last year, shares her experience with sailing in recovery so far and the excitement she has for all that's still ahead.

Reminder - Ellen MacArthur invites you to join her for a very special live Q&A this Tuesday. Ever wondered what prompted the creation of the Trust? Or what goes through a sailor's mind when they are sailing solo around the world? What about how it feels to be knighted by the Queen? Come along, bring your family, and find out!

Don't fear if you can't make it along - send us the questions you want answered here! To reserve your live Q&A spot, please register at this link - click here.

Cheers to all the memories made these last 17 years, and here's to making many, many more!
