5th August 09

Today, nine of the worlds leading Open 60 sailors will take to the water for the Artemis Challenge, a high speed sprint usually raced around the Isle of Wight, which due to light winds this year has been adapted to now head East through the forts and around the Nab Tower, a course of around 40 miles.  Seb Josse, member of BT Team Ellen sailing his Vendee yacht, BT IMOCA 60 will be aiming to win the race and scoop the £10,000 prize for his charity of choice, The Ellen MacArthur Trust.

Seb is currently in the lead and you can follow the race and positions here.He is followed by renowned sailors like Sir Robin Knox Johnson, Volvo Ocean Race winner Mike Sanderson, and Hugo Boss skipper Alex Thompson, but all at the Ellen MacArthur Trust are fully supporting Seb and hoping he will stay in the lead to make it first past the finish line later today!

Come on Seb!!!
