Join our 2019 Siblings Trip!

Year after year, the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust received the same feedback: siblings need support too.

A cancer diagnosis turns a whole family’s life upside down. Brothers and sisters can be significantly impacted by the long-term illness of a sibling.

That is why in 2018 we held a trip just for siblings. It gave 23 young family members the chance to have a special experience all of their own. They need that chance to shine and confide too.

After feedback showed benefits to the whole family, we are excited that our Siblings Trips are back for their second year!

For 2019, we are running a Siblings Trip to Water Park in the Lake District focusing on 13-17-year-olds – and there are even more places available than last year! This will give them the opportunity to have fun and share their experience with others who have been in their shoes.

So if you know someone who would love to get involved, let us know by filling out the form below no later than Friday 28 June.

Trip details

The trip will run from Monday 19 – Friday 23 August.

Transport from the designated pick up points will be provided.

Only siblings of young people who have previously sailed with the Trust are eligible for the trip. They must be aged between 13 and 17.

If you have more than one sibling who is within this age range, we will try and place them both on the trip together.
