Great North Run

This Sunday, 9 September, seven super Trust supporters will be pulling on their trainers and joining over 56,000 people in the biggest half marathon in the world.

Trust volunteer & medic Sarah was inspired to sign up to the Great North Run after visiting Newcastle during Round Britain 2017, having witnessed first hand the incredible impact Trust trips have.

This is the first year the Trust has had spaces available in the Great North Run, we’re really excited to extend our fundraising activities across the UK and give more people the opportunity to get involved.

The event will be shown live on BBC One from 09:30-13:30 and in a highlights programme on BBC Two from 17:00-18:00. Keep an eye on our social media for updates and Insta stories as we cheer our awesome runners on.
