Although September brings our summer of adventures to an end, it’s also a time of new beginnings. That ‘back to school’ feeling is everywhere – at work, university, clubs, college, and in our communities up and down the country. We say ‘hello again’ and ‘nice to meet you’.
September is also Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, in which we and other cancer charities spotlight the impact of cancer in children and what young people need to believe in their brighter future after the trauma of cancer.
So we’re asking you to Gather for Good in September and change young lives, together.
Make more possible
As we reconnect with our friends, colleagues and clubmates at the end of summer, use those moments – big or small – to raise money so we are here for even more young people who need vital support.
Gather for Good is about connection. How can you bring people in your life together and fundraise to make even more possible for young people living through and beyond cancer?
You could throw a coffee morning, organise a games or quiz night, host a ‘crafternoon’ or board game brunch. Whatever gets people talking, laughing, having fun together is the point.
By tying your Gather for Good idea in with donations or fundraising, you and your friends will make a difference to young lives this September that will last a lifetime.
Get connecting and visit our Gather for Good page for all the details.
