Festivals are go!

We love trip season, of course we do! But this summer was always set to be extra special when the Trust was named as a partner charity for THREE incredible festivals in July and August. And now they're here!

Thanks to long-time supporter and Trust Ambassador, Rob Da Bank, the Trust will once again be out in force at Camp Bestival, in the lovely grounds of Lulworth Castle, Dorset over the weekend of 25-28 July.

Camp Bestival Heroes vs Superheroes logoAnd with the festival theme for this year, Heroes Vs Superheroes, the team will be showing everyone attending Bestival how they can be 'Heroes' by getting involved and supporting our 'Superheroes' in rebuilding their confidence after cancer!

Amongst the Camp Bestival fun, you can celebrate your everyday heroes with us, pick up a postcard, get crafty and send to your biggest hero from our magic postbox -  we will be located in the Castle Field all weekend.

Then it's the CarFest double header!

Between 26-28 July - yep the same weekend as Camp Bestival - we'll be heading up the M6 to Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire for CarFest North before CarFest South brings the party to Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire from 23-35 August.

Thanks to Chris Evans and the CarFest team, we are one of five partner charities.

We cannot wait to see young people who've been supported by the charity partners, including nine-year-old Sophie Williams who sailed with the Trust, singing their hearts out as part in the CarFest choir,  while skipper and former young person, Dan Monk, will fill the 'Inspiration' tent with, well, inspiration as he shares his story.

People will also get the chance to show their steel and take on the Harken Grinder Challenge, while we put rebuilding confidence at the heart of everything we're doing over both CarFests.

So whether you're going along, or will be watching the fun unfold online,  know that you are making a difference to even more young people getting the support they need after treatment.
