Fashion Show raises £1300

2nd November 12

Over 200 people attended a fashion show organised and hosted by girls at St Swithun’s School, Winchester last month. The event was held at the school’s Performing Arts Centre and was staged to raise money for the Trust.

St Swithun’s girls were accompanied on the catwalk by boys from Winchester College as they showed off the latest designs from local retailers including LK Bennett, Top Shop, Crew Clothing, RARE London, Moda Rosa, Gieves and Hawkes, Cadogan and Traffic People.

The show, organised by Lizzie Farrington, Christina Sanguinetti, Helena Sanguinetti and Claudia Strang has so far raised over £1300.  Organiser Lizzie commented; ‘The evening was such a success thanks to our fantastic models, enthusiastic helpers and generous sponsors. We are so happy to have raised this money for such a worthwhile cause, especially as all of us are keen sailors so it was great to help others our own age’

Thank you from everyone at the Trust to the organisers, models, retailers and all those that attended.  It was a great show!
