The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust has been given a grant of £35,422 by Children in Need. This grant will enable us to take 65 young people, in recovery from cancer, on first time sailing trips from Cowes this summer.
In Ellen's words, "our 4-day sailing trips from Cowes, Isle of Wight, benefit the young people immeasurably as they engage in everything from water-fights to barbeques, crabbing and football. In essence they begin to step away from the cancer which defined them for far too long".
