It is hard to believe today (19 Sept) marks the end of the last adventure of 2024 from the Isle of Wight. It all kicked off on 27 May with two return trips – one on the south coast, one at Longtown Outdoor Centre – and, since then, 41 more have taken place up and down the UK.
And we’re not done just yet! The end of October sees a canal trip in Wiltshire for a few more young people, and it promises to be a tranquil journey on the Kennet and Avon canal.
What is there to say about summer 2024?
We’ve laughed more times than we can count, we’ve made hundreds of new friends, and created countless memories that will last a lifetime.
There have been epic water fights, cosy bonfires, tasty barbecues, tens of thousands of photographs, and one or two rainy days to contend with!
We’re so glad you could be part of it. Here’s to the brighter futures inspired this year and in the years to come.

Every volunteer - on boats, at outdoor centres, at festivals, giving talks, on trains and planes - played a vital part in bringing the summer together. We couldn't do what we do without them.
Our trusted partners continued their strong support and enabled us to provide transformational experiences for young people. We're all better together.
Fundraisers are out there every week of the year, come rain or shine, setting goals that in turn benefit young people living through and beyond cancer. Thank you for being part of the #TrustTribe - you're all heroes.
