Charitable Trusts and Foundations are a primary source of income for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, and these play a critical role in enabling increasing numbers of young people to benefit from our support year-on-year.
The Trust receives no government or statutory funding – we rely wholly on donations and fundraising activities to achieve everything we do.
Through our partnerships with more than 20 Trusts and Foundations, we have received grants to meet both the costs of specific voyages or activities, as laid down in the terms of the grant, and also enjoyed access to unrestricted regular funding to help us achieve outcomes determined by the Trust with the funders’ agreement.
We believe in building strong, lasting relationships with our funders as our experience tells us this achieves the best outcomes for all – the young people, the funder and the Trust.
If you are a Charitable Trust or Foundation interested in working with us, or if you could make an introduction to someone who sits on the Board of one of the UK’s 10,000 Trusts and Foundations, we would love to hear from you.
