Be part of a unique day

Run the first-ever Virtual Royal Parks Half Marathon amid the familiar green spaces of your home town and experience the atmosphere of race day through a unique event app. It's like being there but without the hassle of getting there (and home again)!

Are you a new 'lockdown runner' who had never run before last March, but would like to test yourself after a year of pounding around your local park? Maybe you're someone who had been training for a cancelled race last year who would like to give yourself a challenge before in-person races return?

Perhaps entering your first ever race was on your 2021 'to do' list but you don't quite feel comfortable about committing to entering and being amongst a large group of runners?

If any of these is you, the new Virtual Royal Parks Half Marathon is the one! You will be part of a national mass participation event but you start and finish from your own home and you don't have to worry about getting overtaken by someone dressed as a giant hotdog!

As a 'lockdown runner' I've never wanted to enter an event before. I don't even enjoy it! But I know the sense of achievement I'll feel if I can do 13.1 miles so I want to give it a go - Karenza

Each runner will get access to the unique event app, to bring the iconic racecourse to life as you run in your local area as well as track your time and finishing place, a premium race pack, including race bib and medal, and more. For the full details click the button below.

There is a £15 entry fee per runner with a minimum fundraising target of £175. Entries close on Friday 5 March.
