JP Morgan
J.P.Morgan Asset Management have been great supporters of the Trust for many years. Following a considerable donation when the Trust was in its infancy, our relationship has grown from strength to strength, and in 2011 announced the Trust as the sole official charity to the J. P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race for 2011 & 2012.
Over the years the company have helped with everything from supporting one of our young people who is in recovery from cancer, Dan Monk, to compete in the Clipper Round the World Race in 2007, to regularly raising money and donating prizes for our fundraising events. We were one of the four preferred charities of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race from 2005 to 2010, and in 2009/10 we were elected as internal staff charity of the year for the London office. This has seen employees coming up with a range of creative and original ideas to raise money, including a Mini-Olympics evening, raffles, sponsored weight loss and dress-down days. This relationship has been very important for the growth of the Trust and one we hope to continue in the future.
TESTIMONIALS
“It is great to see the smiles on peoples faces and give something back to The Trust. I hope that sharing my experiences can help them. This week has been great; it has been mainly water fights with a bit of sailing!!”
- Chris, Trust Graduate Volunteer
TESTIMONIALS
“Jay returned full of confidence, chat, and knowledge of sailing. Jay had ‘life’ back in his eyes. He enjoyed the whole experience. His highlight was the privilege of sailing a yacht with Ellen. He would love to sail again. He even cooked a lasagne on his own for his yachting crew (He never cooks!!) He was full of pride.”
- Mother of Jay, 16
